【懶人包】人權期中考：聯合國人權公約審查在台灣？！

雖然台灣並非聯合國會員國，無法締結國際人權公約，我國立法院自2009年以來仍先後通過五部人權公約的《施行法》，向國際社會宣誓願意自主遵守國際人權體系之相關規範與制度的決心。然而台灣不像其他國家一樣，可以定期將檢討國內人權狀況的「國家報告」提交給日內瓦的國際人權專家審查，形同寫了期中考卷卻沒有老師批閱的旁聽生，進步空間有限。不過2009至13年間，在人權公約施行監督聯盟等民間團體的大力堅持推動下，台灣成功「DIY」地建立起一套規格足以媲美、甚至超越聯合國現行人權公約報告審查機制，正可說是「去不了聯合國但可以把聯合國搬來台灣」！
